Ceramic is material that hardens when fired, a material that is shaped, processed, surface-treated and then transformed at high temperatures.
I not only use the clay itself, but this entire process as my medium.
This concept is backbone of my creative process.
It was if an accident that I discovered the world of ceramics, but it was a very fortunate one. Shapes emerged from my hands as the wheel turned and I marveled as they came into existence right before my eyes. When I use the potter’s wheel, I feel the pure pleasure of creation, and for me. This is my prototype. Just as water calls to water, my work is to create “form” from “form” and to continue transforming it.
